Procurement of Material & Equipment

Under this division, we supply goods and materials needed to service our client's construction and refurbishment projects. Within our portfolio we can supply a vast array of materials and equipment needed to undertake projects. From structural components through to finishing details, Global Imports can get it for you. We source, specify and deliver the following:

Structural Components, electrical, plumbing, hvac, designer lighting, doors & windows, floor / wall finishes, roofing materials and FF&E, we work with the Architects, Engineers, and Design Consultants to identify, specify, source and deliver the required products necessary to achieve the desired outcome of the Project.

Logistics Management

This division focuses on the movement of cargo from the point of origin to final destination and is a key component of the supply chain process. Our established ties with carriers serving our region affords GIL the ability to move cargo from major markets in the US, UK, China, Canada, North & South America, Europe

Services provided as follows:

  • Coordinate the pickup and delivery cargo from manufacturers and suppliers to freight carriers.
  • Consolidation of project cargo
  • Shipping of cargo via land, air or sea as required
  • Customs clearance and delivery to project site or warehouse
  • Warehouse Management ‐ including receiving and distribution of materials

    • Master Dealer/ Distributor

    We are currently the master dealers and authorised distributors for a number of innovative products used in building projects. These are as follows:

    Energy Efficiency / Management Products

  • Authorized Dealers for Gemlink, this wireless Energy Management System allows resorts and properties to control the air conditioning in guestrooms when the room is unoccupied, yielding saving of 35% on electricity consumed via the AC.
  • ThermX Solar Assisted Cooling systems is an innovative technology that integrates the use of solar energy into HVAC systems allowing them to achieve efficiencies and savings of 50% or greater. GIL is a master dealer and overseas supply and installation of this technology.

    • Construction Materials

  • Enviroshake is an Engineered Roofing Product that replicates the look of natural wood shingles. Enviroshake is a ‘Green’ Product and is supported with a 25 Warranty and is Miami Dade rated to withstand winds of 180mph. GIL is an authorized seller and certified installer of the product
  • Allmet, another one of our roofing products is a stone coated metal roofing system. Available in a variety of colors and varying profiles, this product looks nothing like metal roofing and has a high aesthetic appeal. The product is Class “A” Fire rated and also comes with warranty
  • Rubaroc is a poured in place epdm rubber safety flooring. Originally designed for swimming pool decks, its application quickly grew to that of splash pads and water parks, playgrounds, hotels, commercial and private home applications. Because of its non‐skid nature and flexibility, Rubaroc is also used to resurface a variety of worn out or uneven surfaces.
